About Shelley

Shelley is a British contemporary artist based in Hertfordshire, predominantly working in drawing and conceptual photography.

Shelley studied painting at the University of Gloucestershire and then completed her Masters Degree in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University.

Shelley received media attention in 2006 for her project ‘Finding Shelley’ which saw Shelley driving around the UK photographing street signs called Shelley. Click here to see Press information.

in 1999, Shelley won a student prize for her drawing ‘Static Expansion’ in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Competition (Formerly Cheltenham Open Drawing Competition).
